I don't think I want it to end...
I just reread chapters 5,6,7 and 8 of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - and I don't think I want to read the last book.
I don't want it to end.
I don't want to know what happens. I mean, so many avenues have already been closed thanks to the events of OotP and HBP...these characters who had the whole world ahead of them, even as late as GOF, now have some seriously bad things coming up. I just...I don't know if we're going to be able to get a happy ending.
I really hope that JKR doesn't tie it all up too neatly - I want some room for the characters to shift and change.
Then again, what am I worrying about? FF authors have managed some rather plausible explanations for bringing both Sirious and Dumbledore back to life...and hey, if something happens that we don't like, we just ignore it and carry on like it never happened.
