So yesterday morning, I was sitting on the bus, and this guy comes up to me, asks if I made my bag (I did) and then he asks if I was selling them (I haven't, but I'm willing to) because his friend is looking for a bag, and mine is "gorgeous." I tell him I'd be happy to make a bag, and that I'll give him my number so his friend can call me. But no! he says "here, take my art project, it's got my email address on the back" and hands me a CD, in a sleeve with a note on the back:
its come to this
i handed you this to say hi-
i'll see people and feel moved to meet them
or have some kind of exchange
(if only for that moment)
though "hi," works too, it's nice to have another way to connect, also to share art.
the music is a mix of
my friends and my
work and other work i like. <---- mostly

Coolest thing ever? I believe it might be. The CD itself is really cool, it's a mix of great music and little snipets of phone conversations about--- I don't know.
I can't find practically any of the lyrics on google, so I don't know what the songs are, except the first which is radiohead, and the last which is cat power.
Anyway, I'm going to adapt his awesomeness to myself by making a mix CD to hand out to people, and having my contact information on the back, or on the sleeve. it's such a great idea!
