I just realized reading your comment that probably one of my favorite reasons I love this ship so much is how well the trope of one of them being quite avoidant about her feelings to the point of being funny and the other one seeing through the bullshit works. :D I don't really have a preference as to which one is in which role, although I've really been enjoying insecure!Pansy recently!

I've always read Pansy as extremely insecure. People who lash out/bully usually are, and she is supposed to not be very attractive, so I like the idea of Pansy avoiding her feelings/trying to hide. But I can also see her growing up and being all "fuck it" about what she wants and just going after Ginny. 8D

Same!<3 An I totally agree about Pansy and bullies. But I also feel like Ginny could have insecurities of her own even though she's always learned to act tough growing with six brothers and not wanting anyone to princess her. I usually read her as bisexual and I like the idea of her being confident around boys but secretly a bit insecure around girls she likes. :D Although really I just enjoy a variety of tropes with the both of them <3

omg I love your headcanon about bi!Ginny. I have the habit of imagining her as a butch lesbian, because *yum*, but I really like the idea of her being insecure around the girls she likes. Also, I'm not against Harry/Ginny, and Ginny being able to have feelings for both Harry and Pansy is hot 8D
