I have Alice in Wonderland mania. Just love it so much atm! While watching Avatar 3D at the Imax, they showed the trailer for Alice in Wonderland and it looks incredible! Not only has it got my fav duo, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton and my fav actors- Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, the artistic creativeness gone into the appreance and attire of the characters looks like such a visual treat for the eyes! ^^ Even the shops have caught on, the Alice in Wonderland inspired models in the H&M at Oxford Circus, all the jewellery at Topshop, I especailly like a necklace that has a cute teacup and saucer with a gold spoon with the tea cup saying I heart tea on it, so true for me! But I'm not going to buy it untill after my exam.
Talking about shops, I went to Primark and I think this is the first time I've ever really liked the clothes in there, I was shocked how many nice things they had in there! In the past, all their clothes have looked cheap, felt cheap and just lie all wrong on my body so I've never brought them as I prefer better quality clothes that actually look decent on me and last for longer than a week. But today they had quite a few clothes that could pass as casual lolita, for example some of their coats and this jacket/hoodie I brought. It's sailor themed and will go well with the Spring trends and I just love it! And even some of the jewellery looked nice and at such a cheap price I couldn't resist! All the other shops have some lovely clothes out for this Spring, however I was on bit of a shopping mission so I had to restrain myself and couldn't get distracted too much. I was looking for a dark denim straight skirt, which shops simply no longer stock and I don't want the size of a belt either so I was basically looking for the impossible. If only I wasn't on a student budget... I would have had many shopping bags instead of just the one!
Back to the Alice in Wonderland theme, I really want to re-read the book but I have no idea where my copy is and I'm too embarrassed to walk into the shop and ask where it is, I would like to have the copy that has all the illustrations in it as well. I think I'll try and find a decent copy of it online as I'm not sure if second-hand bookshops will have them.
