1. What are your nicknames?
In real life I don't have any, though people who know me very well, (my spouse, my siblings) will drop the "a" and call me Lis (Lease). Online I am not mingsmommy but rather, Ming or The Ming and, occasionally, Ming the Merciless.
2. Would you rather die suddenly with no pain but no prep time or die with some pain but time to prepare?
I'd like to have some time to prepare but I am trying to live my life such that in case I don't have the time, the people I care about have no doubt. I do better at that somedays than others.
3. If you're in a relationship what do you most miss about being single?
If you're single what do you most miss about being in a relationship?
I miss not being able to go places without checking in. I miss not being able to get up and go out for a drive in the middle of the night if I want to (of course I am so old, I seldom want to any more).
4. How many colors are you wearing now?
Blue and black (two)
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I am a bit of both. In a business setting, I am an extrovert. In a social setting, I am an introvert when it comes to meeting new people. I do, however, have the ability to connect quickly and deeply with people in situations that are more than superficial.
6. What was the last book you read?
The last book I finished was When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron. I was 75% of the way through No Country for Old Men, left the book in my car, the car went to the shop, the car came back, but the book did not. I have a stack of about 20 on my "must read" list.
7. Let's play everybody's favorite game...what would you do if you won the lottery?
Buy some land, build a house, put money away for Savannah, give each of my and Keith's siblings some money, put some in trust for all the nieces and the nephew, give to charity, travel.
8. Do you like snow?
I LOVE snow, as most people from the South do, since we seldom have to deal with it and it kind of causes the world to shut down. It's like a holiday with no holiday related stress. But I won't drive in it unless someone's life depends on it.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
I am unhappy with myself for giving up yoga and not putting an alternative exercise in place. Before I was fat but in relatively good shape, now I'm fatter and in poor shape.
10. What was the last thing you ate today?
Ummm...I haven't eaten today. I had coffee, when I have coffee I forget to eat.
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
If I wash my hair, 45 minutes. If I don't wash my hair 30 minutes. That doesn't include time spent checking e-mail or reading whatever fanfic or journal entry popped up over night.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
Livejournal, facebook, my website (I love looking at my counter that tells me where all my hits come from), ff.net, YTDAW, google.
13. What classes are you taking right now? And if you're not in school anymore, what's your job?
No classes, though one of my goals for 2009 is to take at least one, if not 2. I am a Contracts/Closing Coordinator for a Real Estate company that specializes in REO properties.
14. Do you like to clean?
I like for my house to be clean, but, no, I don't really like to do it.
15. What do you want for Christmas?
World Peace, Inner Peace, and a piece of German Chocolate Cake.
16. What are you doing right now?
Ummm...duh...I am doing a meme. I am also waiting for a return phone call and contemplating the logistics of a project and composing a difficult letter in my head.

18. What would you do if you see $100 lying on the ground?
Pick it up, if it's outside ask anyone if they dropped any money. If it's in a store, turn it in.

A convertible Bug.

She is amazing and wonderful and an extremely talented writer. She has a huge heart and a beautiful soul and I'm fortunate to call her a friend.
