Concert, Corpse and Chess
Thursday night was Savannah’s first concert, My Chemical Romance and Muse. I went because it was a milestone, I was expecting to just endure it. But I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I came straight home and watched CSI and oh, how wonderful.
I woke up Friday morning and discovered a lizard corpse in the hall. We called in the CSIs (Cat Scene Investigators). While we were waiting for the unit to arrive we did some questioning.
Both Argyle and Sherlock were pointing their paws at the dog…they stated she was the only one that got to go outside, therefore she was the only one that could bring in a lizard. I pointed out Miss Vixen had elected to spend the previous night on guard duty.
Then they switched their story to suicide…but no teeny tiny gun, no itsy bitsy pill bottle. Auto erotic asphyxiation gone wrong? No reptilian plastic bag. Emo self-mutilating lizard? I DON’T think so…those are cat sized gnaw marks on the tail of the reptile.
Then they lawyered up and it was all over.
Saturday was the NC All Girls Open. Major pic spam below. We used a Luau theme for decorations. We had video games, face painting, nail painting, frisbees, beach balls, bubbles (big mistake) and lots of snacks. Thank you all so much for your suggestions…you really, really helped make it so much fun for the girls. Every single one of them said it was the best tournament they’d ever been to. Thank you!
