HELP! I need a song!
Brother/boss turns fifty in a few weeks and I'm going through a buttload of old pictures from childhood to make a slideshow for him...I can't get my SIL or her daughters to send me any which is making me GRRRRRR!! but they will be sad when their pictures aren't in the video, right?
One of the reasons I am doing this is, you know, fifty is a pretty big milestone and despite the fact he is an arrogant doo-doo head, I love him. AND he really thought the one I did for Savannah was about the coolest thing ever. So, I figured one that was all about him? He'd have to love, right?
But, I need a song. I briefly considered Fiver For Fightings 100 Years but I wanted something more upbeat. Then I was thinking about Pat Benatar's Fired Up but I wondered if that one might be more my speed than his.
So, yeah, I need a song...something appropriate for the occasion, meaningful lyrics are a plus. He's into classic rock; he was born in 1960 and graduated from high school in 1978 (my husband says high school/college music stays with us forever). I'd like for his wife to like it too, but she is older than he is so anything too head banger will not work.
