I am AFLAIL. There is so much greatness here that I can't order my thoughts - I want to copy and paste the whole thing and comment like I'm betaing except talking about everything that's RIGHT.

I am actually going to start at the end. Because the casual conversation about their future, leading into the proposal was just so organic and gentle and perfect - in part because Emily went completely "demented Christmas elf" (which may be my favorite term ever) and that it seems to be when she's at her craziest that he realizes he wants her as his "mate" cookies, Christmas lights, and all.

Emily going crazy for Christmas, driven by her desire for Jack to have good memories, is adorable and fabulous and I love seeing her turn her single-minded energy onto something so common and amusing is completely charming. I love her madly.

And OMG, the tree ornaments that are meant to be played with! And Hotch's perfect southern manners! And Reid having fun at a party! And Rossi calling Prentiss "Betty Crocker" in the beginning! And Rossi glaring at Morgan's cheesecake consumption!

And OMG, the tree ornaments that are meant to be played with! Ironically, my daughter's GS Troop had their Christmas party Saturday & had an ornament exchange...Savannah came home with an Imperial Storm Trooper ornament.
