Who's playing tricks on me?

Jun 11, 2003 09:59

For the past few months, I have been wanting to update my CV and look for better opportunities elsewhere. But I have also been telling myself to stay put and learn more things while in this dynamic environment. So I set a deadline at October 2003 (when my Contract expires) and if I were not converted to perm by then, I shall move on to seek greener pastures.

Well, since getting the conversion last week, despite going through a bad experience with my boss, I have sort of put off the idea of moving. That is, until yesterday...

Got a call at my office in the afternoon. It was from J. Hunter, a head hunter company. The lady said there is an offer for me and we arranged to meet up this afternoon to see what she has to offer. Asked her where she got my number from, but she smoothly evaded my question. For a while, I was quite surprised and happy that my name actually got to a headhunter! But after checking with a colleague, I realised that sometimes these so-called headhunters just asked for a name from those that they interviewed. Chey!...

Anyway, talk about bad timing, this is really twice in a row! Now that I just got converted to perm, really am not sure if I want to leave...
