Yep and have...oh at least half a dozen times. When I was younger I engaged a bit in religion hopping, not because my beliefs kept changing but because I like to belong and I was desperately looking for a group that believed the same as I did. It didn't work and none of them stuck because none of them matched my beliefs.
I now identify as paganish with an interest in buddhism and a splash of atheism. No seriously, not it's not as contradictory as it sounds. I want to learn a lot more about Buddhism before I identify properly but I'm very interested in it, but I'll always be paganish.
I started off as an episcopalian, and I have fond memories of my old church. I wish it had worked for me, I wish I had fit in and been able to believe because I liked going to church and belonging. I miss it, but it just doesn't work for me because I don't believe. Though I do believe that Jesus was a groovy guy and who had some good things to say but I don't like the death cult aspect of Christianity (I'm sorry if I offended any Christians with that comment but seriously, some branches of christianity focus FAR too much on his death and not at all on his life)
Now I live very comfortable with my spirituality and far less concerned about labels.
writer's block,
