I can't help thinking that maybe the original humans went to Earth, and all the Galacticans are hybrid cylons, so for all their thinking that they're following their predecessors, the end result might be something like 'Full Circle' in Dr Who, where they can't go to Earth because 'they' never went there originally.

Now that would be a Hell of development...

Incidentally, have we been introduced?

Sorry - it's Fiona, our paths have crossed a few times over the years :-)
I stumbled across this by accident and couldn't resist sticking my oar in

Oh my. Yes, just a bit ;-) When you say "by accident", what do you mean by that? Searching for something else, stupid comment I posted elsewhere etc?

And post something in your blog, Goddammit!

I was searching for something else and a link led me here, and I thought 'aha, there's a familiar name/modus operandi/lots of guns'...that'll teach you to have people not talking bollocks ;-)

Ah, but if I posted in the journal I'd give myself away (although I just did anyway, buh), and I'd need to have more of a life than I do.

Dare I ask what? And what entry did that lead to? Just curious...

Well, at least I'm consistent...

...that'll teach you to have people not talking bollocks ;-)

Huh?

I'd need to have more of a life than I do

Given that you seem to have had at least a casual perusal of my blog, you must have noticed that having a life doesn't really constitute a pre-requisite!

I doubt I'd be able to find it again, but I was having a Stream of Consciousness Via Google spell, and it involved searching at various points for Bear McCready, Blakes 7, Cult TV, BSG and (garden) fencing. I'm actually worried at the view of my psyche that selection offers, let alone how all arcane paths lead to Ming.

Then I noticed that, unusually for LJ, it wasn't a gaggle busily slashing one Supernatural lead or another with the car, and started reading. That there was stuff about BSG (that made sense and was interesting) was just a bonus.
It makes a change from passing my idle hours thoroughly hating a certain Cult TV organiser for getting a guest I'd repeatedly suggested (James Morrison), just when I'd pretty much written the event off for good ;-)

Has he now? That is interesting, especially as I too had more or less given up on that one, despite much effort at persuasion every year by certain friends!

Yep, annoying isn't it?
I'd also pretty much given up on it but (if guests don't mysteriously cancel at the last minute) there are a couple of decent looking guests, and Morrison was a great guest at Neutral Zone. Usual problems of an overpriced and out of the way venue but I may have to think about booking.

Still not entirely convinced that's a good enough reason to go. If not, shall have to have words with friends who I'm pretty sure will go to get my DVD set signed! Was pretty gratified to see someone wearing a S:AAB outfit at Redemption. pinkdormouse of this parish, in fact. It was an Angry Angels rather than 58th one but I figure I can forgive her that much...

I know what you mean about having doubts - SF Ball flyers picked up at Memorabilia yesterday had some appeal for a cheaper option where guests aren't really all that important. I've seen JM already & I have my doubts that anything will have improved with Cult.

That said, in this post by gaspodex, given Life On Mars writer Mathew Graham is going to be there and that it's appaent *not* in a holiday camp which makes it a tad more tempting...
