What a difference a day makes...
And my latest dumbass maneuver: the The Men They Couldn't Hang gig is in fact on Saturday evening, not Friday. Doh! Fortunately, Kate was clearly paying more attention than I was. Still, this means I no longer have to worry quite so much about getting up to get to Canterbury and I don't envisage any problems with being eliminated and done in good time to get back to London in time for the performance.
Have also booked twin room for Decalogy for tinkerbell1980 and myself. Once again, I find myself irritated that the Norbreck seems to be more expensive than the Radisson. At least the Rad is indeed a high-end hotel rather than a dump. Must remember to take a power block this time, in case the room yet again has just the one power socket... I also find myself wondering what Decalogy is going to be like following my Damascene revelations at Redemption...
Heard that Lorna's getting married and she wants to have a "Hen do", airsofting at Dragon Valley on 22 April. Not a problem apart from colonel_maxim and Jo having Birthday bashes in London the night before. The wedding is in Bristol on 5 May which is the Saturday of the Lulworth muster so I guess I can bunk off for the day and head out to Bristol for the day. Heh. I might look a bit odd heading off and coming back to the site in a suit though ;-)
Sigh. It's a bright sunny day and I have this desire to chrono my airsofts, especially the gas and electric Glocks to see how they compare.
