Anyhoo! Been working a lot... which is good... um.
Saterday i had dinner with my G'pa, Katie, a coworker of theirs and two ladies from Japan! They're visiting because of... uh, something to do with being from Mpls' sister city. Anyways, they're learning english. It was a lot of fun, and i got to scratch Mr.Shabby's tummy and take pictures of all his handsome kitty glory.
Sunday it rained. And though it was terrible for business, it was the most glorious thing ever. i opened up the door at work and let the sound and smell of the rain just wash my mind clean. It was beautiful. And, if you're not feeling all "in tune with nature-y", it was 1.25 inches of rain, which meant i hardly had to water the garden at all! Of course, it was so nice out that Puck and i ended up spending about the same amount of time there anyways.
And on Monday i had dinner with 'roci and co, and FINALLY got to meet Sacha, and much Cranium crazy-ness and hugs ensued! Ahh, good times. ima have to kidnap Dev Dev some dark stormy tuesday and make her bring me to the pet shelter though... kwaaantt... kiiiiitttiiieeesssssssss....
Other than that... my boss bought me a cookie today! And it was droolworthy... oatmeal and gooey chocolate chips and coconut... *bliss* And i gave her a bag of zuchinni. i think i got the better deal, neh? :P
And now i'm sitting here... just finished watching Genshiken (which is an anime i highly recommend, right after The Melancholy of Suzamiya Haruhi!) i've discovered that, despite my reluctance, i do enjoy anime, i'm just more picky than others. i like watching it in groups, and i like it to be high quality, and i like it to finish in under 15 episodes. So... social interaction with quality over quantity.
Yup.
And for some reason... it's 1:01 and i'm happy. Hee! *happy purr* Much love to all!
