2010 was a busy year!
I graduated from college, and Mini had a fantastic time working for the U.S. Census. We participated in KQ (a 26-hour radio contest) with a team of old and older Harwoodians (the dorm where Mini and I met), and got married in the summer. Health insurance was freaked out over, jobs were searched for, almost everything in my parent's basement had to be replaced, and pretzels were made. My cousin visited, and someone very important to me started seeing a therapist for depression.
Mini got an Xbox - the games Red Dead Redemption and Darksiders come to mind, both of which involve being badass and riding around on a horse, and are highly recommended. I got the (not) chicken pox, and started playing with polymer clay, we introduced my sister to Plants vs Zombies, and my parents watched hundreds of episodes of Korean drama starting with Great Queen Seondeuk and ending the year mired in Jumong.
2011 has just begun. The job searches continue, Iron Chef America is now on Hulu, and my sister will be graduating from college in the spring. I've applied to do some volunteer work and have been watching a Let's Play of The Void, a rather trippy Russian game where Color is... well, everything. You collect it, you plant it, you consume it, you fight with it, you give it away... aaand it might also be sentient? Like I said, trippy. Also, NSFW. I got Mini a card game called Space Hulk: Death Angel for Christmas, and we've lost every game so far. Mini gave me Professor Layton and the Unwound Future for the DS, and I finished last week. I <3 Professor Layton.
As a side note: I rarely post here on LJ anymore, so apologies. I still lurk around, but if I post about myself, I'm more like to do it at my blog:
