The radio is doing a string of songs about New Orleans and it's making it really, really hard for me not to pick up and run off to New Orleans right this second, to sit in seedy bars getting progressively drunker on hurricanes and feeding endless quarters into the jukebox.

travelocity.com reports that "several major airlines" are having sales on rt flights from "many cities" to NO from June through October.

Dutifully I followed their price hunt instructions, expecting to find something like the quoted $50-128 prices considering that they fecking listed Indianapolis as one of the included departure points for the sale.

What did I come up with? $230. GRRRRRRRRRRRR. Maybe you'll have better luck from Chicago, though.
