1. What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before?
Photographed Fall Out Boy. Openly admitted to myself that I'm an alcoholic. Bought a house.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I was pretty unhappy, and I didn't photography the Black Keys, so, no. This year I've resolved to photograph the Black Keys, be happy, win the lottery, and profit, so it should be easier, of course. Money makes everything easier.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
insidian! I got to meet that babby in September and she is a DOLL.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not that I can remember.
5. What countries did you visit?
Sometimes the NC felt like a foreign country.
6. What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?
A partner, in the romantic sense. More energy. Less guilt.
7. What date from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
December 19 -- the day I closed on the house.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I bought a fucking house.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I drank a lot this year, you guys.

Nothing physical.

Everyone who loves me, and supports me.

The North Carolina State Legislature's. Several coworkers.

RiotFest in Chicago, Fall Out Boy, the new Josh Ritter album, decorating my house.

ii. thinner or fatter? 30 pounds fatter, ugh.
iii. richer or poorer? I have a mortgage but I also have some financial stability for the first time in my life, so richer?

Anything other than getting wasted.

Went to the beach with my family, watched the entirety of Scandal.

I sat on my couch with the cats eating Indian food and watching football.

Grimm, probably. I also really love Major Crimes even though it's apparently an old person show, thanks, coworkers. I watched every episode of Scandal in five days.

Rob Sheffield's Turn Around Bright Eyes.

A HOUSE.

A certain someone relocating to the NC.

Catching Fire? I guess? I think I saw like four movies in the theatre.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I spent the week at the beach with my parentals, my aunt, and a great-aunt, and I was 33. It was a good birthday. I'm really scared about 34.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A romantic partner.

Whatever was left in my closet after I gained 30 pounds.

This implies that I was sane, which I was not, but sundancekid and my friend Adam in Chicago were rocks.

Manny Machado, the Orioles' 21 year old third baseman, because I am a creepy old lady.

North Carolina reverting to the Stone Ages.
