interesting...
Soooo I don't want to get my hopes up about things buuuuuut I just can't help it. I have to blog this because it's important and could mean a drastic change this spring/summer.
My dad was complaining about how ridiculous taxes are and he spoke to his accountant, who told him that if he owned another house, it would give him a break. Welllllll he double checked with the accountant about owning a house in /another/ state, and lo and behold, it would still help out as a deduction! Which means there is a high possibility that he will be purchasing a condo for me and Sean this summer!!! Of course, we'll be paying him the mortgage payment as "rent". But holy shit, it's an amazing thought. I wouldn't have to worry about finding a suitable apartment and criteria and dog weight limits and pet rent and deposits and ridiculous shit like that, because it'd be his condo. How friggin sweet is that. I really really really really really really hope things work out. I'm worried though because while my landlord did say he would let me out of my lease early, he said he would IF he could find someone to take my place. :/ Uhh anyone want to rent a cute little 1 BR condo in Columbus? I shouldn't even say "little" because I think it's pretty big, considering. I mean, some 1 br condos don't even have a full kitchen, they have a little narrow area with all appliances smooshed in it and they call it a "kitchen". Mine is an actual ROOM.
AND what's even better is that there are several condos for sale in Nic and Phil's neck of the woods (a bit southwest of Grandview)... and by neck of the woods, I do mean like, a minute walk away! Specifically, a 3 BR, 1 1/2 bath condo with a one-car garage, patio (we don't have to sell the grill!) and access to a pool, clubhouse and tennis court! It's reeeeally nice inside and I showed it to my parents, who both liked it.
We'll see how things go. I'm trying not to get too too excited about it just in case something happens.... which inevitably, something always does...... but it'd be pretty damn sweet! Not only is it a nice looking place, it's like 2 seconds away from Nic and Phil, and that means LOTS of ridiculous fun. :) Excitement!!!
Alright.... time for bed.... I really didn't get too much done tonight because I was working on my stupid Fluid Therapy take home final, which SUCKED.
