Labor day weekend

Hee. Petsitting Edgar while Nicole and Phil are moving into their condo today. He is just an absolute dear! A little anxious when Mommy left, but soon he calmed down. They've been training him extremely well, so he's very responsive to commands and the tone of your voice. He's getting along with Slinky quite well-- they even played a little bit! Slinky's favorite game too, "Keep Away". Speaking of the kitty kitts, he's on his best behavior too..... a little wary at first, but then more curious, and now he's totally ignoring Edgar--- who's in the living room, napping near his backpack of toys. He's a little sad that Mommy left, but he'll get really excited once she comes to pick him up. I wonder how Tiki is doing with the move. Nic said she'd have to lock her in a bathroom cos there's nowhere else to bring her. She doesn't particularly like other cats, and I'm not sure Slinky does either, so bringing her here wouldn't be good. I'm sure she'll be fine.

So yeah.... Edgar has been perfect so far. *sigh* I wish Ripley had been this good about us leaving him alone.

But before I get wistful, I'm going to change the subject. Yesterday-- in fact, the past two days or so, have been complete and total nightmares at the lab. Nothing has been working and something was contaminated. Soo I went to the dog shelter yesterday and harvested some spleens from there..... 3, along with blood to collect serum from. Experiments are running and I have to do stuff to them later today.

I'm exhausted.... No more for now. I think maybe I'll lay down a bit, since Edgar and Slinky are being so good.
