Erin has just mentioned this in her LJ, and I did forget to mention it in mine (though I said it in my MySpace).... so here goes:
If you haven't seen Brokeback Mountain, what the hell are you doing, get off your ass and away from this computer, and see it. Right now.
Forget all those chick flick smushy cushy fluffy Meg Ryan and Titanic love stories. This is what a /real/ love story is made of, and it shows all aspects of a relationship--- including the ugly ones. I looked around me, and I'm not sure I saw a dry eye in the place--- even men, straight as all hell men, were wiping their eyes. So don't give me this homophobic garbage. You'd be missing one of the best movies of the year. Ang Lee is a certified genius (but we already knew that from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon).
