ps. hey i've been thinking.
a) a fabric swap community. is there one? it'd work out like this: you'd tell what sort of fabrics you like/want, and if someone has something like it or sees something fitting the profile at a flea market or whatever, you could swap if you had something they like. like how normal swaps work, i guess, although i for one would be more than willing to help out someone in need without swapping something back, i.e just mailing them something nice & hopefully wanted. would anyone be interested? and like i said, is there one?
b) same for yarn. i'm sure i've seen one around though... maybe just for us finns then eh? :D (saving in mailing costs). 'cos i've got tons of yarn in my stash that i'm never going to need but that are very usable for someone else (like, brand new unknitted stuff).
i was digging through the scrap fabric pile in the local thrift shop today, and i started thinking... so yeah, feedback, please.
