BEDA Entry 17: Making New (BEDA) Friends
So, today I got matched with my BEDA buddies on the ning. I'm pretty excited to talk with everyone and read their blogs/vlogs/whatever they're doing.
For this BEDA entry, I'll talk for a little bit about myself so as to introduce myself to my new buddies.
- My first name is actually "Elizabeth," but my mom nicknamed me "Beth" after the character in Little Women.
- I'm 21.
- I like cats.
- My favorite color is red.
- I'm graduating in 21 days with my bachelor's degree in English. I'll be starting graduate school this fall to get my Master's.
- (stealing this from Pam) I have 1340 songs on my iPod. My favorite album to listen to straight through is probably John Mayer's Continuum.
- I also like playing music. I've been playing the flute for about 10 years now, and I've been teaching myself guitar. I also like to sing, though it's not very pretty when I do. :)
- I like cheesy chick flicks.
- I live in Alabama but I'm a bit of an army brat: I was born in Washington, lived in Texas for ten years, spent three years in Germany, and have lived in Alabama for almost 2 years now. My parents are both originally from Indiana.
- I'm really shy "IRL."
- I have a profile on way too many social networking websites.
- If I were forced to pick a favorite book, it would probably be a tie between The Perks of Being a Wallflower and To Kill a Mockingbird.
I don't really know what else to add. This list could be endless. Anyone reading this...feel free to fill me in on things about you, too.
