...this is just me fuming about a few things. go go gadget lj! :D
1. Just because it's warm outside, that doesn't mean summer attire is appropriate!
2. Summer fabrics such as linen, light cottons, and sheer silks should still be avoided.
3. (For Erin) Sandals are appropriate only if you've been taking care of your feet all winter! If not, keep your feet in closed-toed shoes! Certainly no opened toed shoes for a business formal outfit.
4. Hose and closed-toe shoes are still the only appropriate clothing for business formal in the evening. It is still cool at night.
5. Be cautious about bearing your shoulders- always have a jacket near.
6. Nothing strapless! (Eveningwear is an exception, of course, year- round).
