This is for you, Theodore, because I heard you're still learning. These are the basics and although they seem very simple and downright obvious, some relationships fail precisely because of seemingly simple mistakes.
So.
Theodore Geoffrey Nott IV's Top 10 Responsibilities:
1. To love Ronald Bilius Weasley unconditionally, with his whole heart and without any shadow of a doubt. (I know it's obvious, but it has to be said.)
2. Monogamy. Absolute. No exceptions.
3. Be nice to more people.
4. Special mentions for #3: All Weasleys. Attend Christmas get-togethers and everything. (Much fun, this one.)
5. More special mentions for #3: Hermione Granger and Harry Potter. (This needs no explanation.)
6. To make sure Ronald Weasley does not get hurt in any way. (Goes without saying, but again, has to be said.) This includes letting out spiders in a room and making sure acromantulas stay in the Forbidden Forest.
7. To make sure Ronald Weasley studies regularly. At least 2 hours a day.
8. To make sure Ronald Weasley gets 8 hours of sleep at night.
9. To not crack a joke about rule #8.
10. To keep in mind that Theodore Nott now walks with Ronald Weasley and to not break the bond of trust that has now been established.
