You know....eating Chinese food 3 times in a week is too much, even for me. Yesterday morning, my mother announced to my father and i that she was going to bring home chinese food for dinner. Which is great, because really? Normally it's me buying the stuff. I didn't have the heart to tell her that i was having chinese FROM THE SAME RESTURANT today (Saturday) with Judy and Rick again. So, i suffered through it. Now my stomach and i aren't talking.
And i'm thinking that i have to go to the gym about a million times next week to regain my calorie burning abilities...though i haven't lost a ton of weight (maybe 15 pounds?) but i have lost inches off the legs and butt. Which kind of sucks because i had a nice butt that filled out my pants well...now? Not so much :( But it does make me happy that my sister is NOT having that same kind of success. I know that's not nice but when she talks about drinking all weekend and the crap she eats, doesn't make me overly sympathetic.
Book-wise, I bought a new one today called: The Assassin's Accomplice:Mary Surrat and the plot to kill Abraham Lincoln. No light reading there. I recently started The Help also. And i bought a new Deirdre Martin that i am going to start tomorrow when the Superbowl is the only thing on...and i've started rereading a triology by Linda Lael Miller....have i mentioned that i read while i am on the bike at the gym? Can cover a lot of pages in 6 miles :) Today is February 5 but this is the joke for the 4th:

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.
