The Noddick House in Trinity.  Built in 1774 and the one that i want to move to!

Humpback whale tale in Bay Bulls

Just to show you how close the whales were.  The (human) heads were about 2 feet ahead of me.  All the light colour under the water was whale!

The black lumps are seals in Bear Cove

Looking across the Barrens on the way to Trepassey

A moose on the way to Bay Bulls

  "Married Puffins' in Bay Bulls

The 'star' and his body guards?

Being waved at by a humpback!  Very cool!

The circular spot behind the whale is called a 'footprint', it's the upsweep of it's tale and it moves it under the water.  It moves upwards with the force of 1000 horsepower

The white part is the start of the underside of the whale.  He was laying on his side, watching us watch him!  We were in a 40 foot boat, the whale was between 50 and 60 feet long!

A mom and calf humpback playing around the boat in Bay Bulls.  At one point, Justin (our guide on the tour) said that there were 50 whales in the Bay with us!
