Non Pretentious Entry
Since Michael says I'm pretentious on livejournal, I will try not to be. I just write like I do because I see no other way at looking at my convoluted thoughts (and I hope I spelled that correctly). So basically I'll update like I should or just go through the laundry list that is my day.
So I'm on spring break, which is nice, and I'm enjoying at least only doing half the work that I usually do as I'm still working at the Rat Lab. I just got back from Cape Cod, I went on a mini break with Matt and that was a lot of fun. We stayed in a nice bed and breakfast with a huge bed, fireplace and whirlpool bath. We ate sushi, which was much more delicious than Providence sushi, drove around looking for the ocean, saw some sea lions, looked for a crab kazoo, found the ocean and visited the Colony Beach Motel. All in all, a very fun and exhausting time.
What else have I been doing? Oh I went to the podiatrist. He said I have a bunnion and a hammer toe, which is all well and good. He suggests surgery, which is always nice, cause you know I love the idea of having someone go into my toe, break bones and insert screws. I would also have to be off my feet for 6-8 weeks. Like I have that kind of time.
Matt is going to Germany this summer. Not sure what I'm going to do about that. I'm sad, but I guess I understand that he has to go. Well actually not really. I don't really understand why at all, but I'll go along with it, cause ultimately I don't have a say in what he wants to do with his life and why should I? Its not my life to live. I think I will read a lot this summer. Work too. Watch a lot of movies. I wish I was staying on campus, but it is not to be. I want to be in Providence as much as possible.
Hmmm, other things. Oh next year I'm going to be a Meiklejohn, which I'm excited about. Funny how I as a transfer get to help freshmen. It doesn't make sense but who knows what its like to be a freshman more than a transfer student. Nobody that's who. I think it will be interesting. I get to go back to school early, which I like and advise freshmen, which I assume I can do. Oh well. I think that's all that's been going on recently except for this sickness which seems to be taking over my whole body. I hope it goes away, I am on amoxicillin.
I'm excited about my trip to Los Angeles and NINE INCH NAILS!!! Which is awesomely outrageous. I need to talk to Paige regarding plans.
