(no subject)
Well the past couple weeks have been quite a whirlwind of events...
The Saturday night before finals week, Brandon's (boyfriend) Mom called and told me that his father passed away. It was shocking because he was kinda young and wasn't sick or anything. The Army got on top of things and Bran flew out the next day. I wanted to get done with things as fast as I could, not so I could see him, but I just wanted to be able to be there for him. I took all my finals within 2 days, and trust me, that was INSANE. I pulled one all nighter and it's something I hope to NEVER do again....Little sleep, 2 caffeine pills and too much coffee make me a CRAZY PERSON. I've never felt so...I can't even describe it. I was so hyper and awake yet I was exhausted at the same time....ughhhh. Well, I took all my finals and packed up my room and headed out on Tuesday evening...I got to the airport 15 minutes before my flight (my friend and I have SEVERE directional dysfunction). Given my prior flying experience, WHY is it that they ALWAYS special search you when you're in a rush to get to your flight?!!??! They special searched me and I had another episode of tears at yet another airport...geez. I finally made it to Houston, and got to spend time with Brandon for about a week. He's doing really well, and he flew out on Wednesday night...I'm now staying at his house, which is sort of torturous...his stuff and pictures of him are plastered everywhere...ugh. He comes back next month though, and it's the last time I'll see him before he goes to Iraq, hopefully for just a year or so...
We tried stopping by to see some cool Dulles kids, but it never worked out...timing and automobile incidents :-( Is next week finals week for you guys? If any of you fun Sugarlandish kids want to do lunch or anything, give me a ring.
I leave for Arkansas soon...BBBLLLEEECCCHHHH.
