So herewith: A Post of Emptying The Messy Desk Drawer of My Brain
-- I've discovered that DS fandom leads directly to hockey fandom. I read
Hawks and Hands and then was oddly drawn to watching hockey. (Well, it was something to do during the writers strike.) By April, I was dragging
elements to a playoff game. (The Bruins lost the game we went to, but the beer was good, once we got there.)
-- In my "Joss is My Master" brain, May = Apocalypse. I spent a lovely unexpectedly sunny-and-warm Sunday morning at my local Pond (Home of Friendly Kids and Dogs) reading "The Stand" for the umpteenth time.
-- Oh gods, my college reunion is in two weeks. That does not give me enough time to lose 75 pounds, get married, have a baby, or get an additional degree. Stupid overachievers. (And I always bitch about it and get all down on myself, and then I go and I always have a good time. Seeing old boyfriends with their kids is gonna be FUN, right? RIGHT?)
-- The Non-Fun Situation at Work continues, alas.
