My secret uber-superstitious ritual for the final two games was:
+ phone off
+ game on television, but on mute
+ headphones to local radio announcers = PSYCHIC HOCKEY (2-second lag, so it's sort of like that SG1 episode where Teal'c and Daniel are trapped in the video game)
+ black track pants with the blue stripe and the blue hoodie
+ medium iced caramel mocha from the Dunkin (because it's gold and black)
+ Campbell's brown rice and chicken soup
+ cheddar cheese bagel twist from the Dunkin
+ at the first intermission, small glass of red Gatorade (I HAVE A COLD, OKAY?)
+ a little power nap during the intermissions
+ during commercial breaks, reading from Vol. 2 of the Michael Palin Diaries
