I think I found a kitten! I have to call in 30 minutes to find out more about it, but Mrs. Cofer caught me as I walked into my field school today (for the last time! =( ) and yelled "Ask and you shall recieve!" At first I thought, "I've been hired!!" Then I realized I hadn't put my application in there yet. Then I realized she must mean a kitten. I had told her Monday to keep her ears open for news of a black and white kitten, so she offhandedly asked one of her students, who said, "Yes, actually, I do." She had the student bring me a picture of the kitten, and the student gave me the phone number to call later and talk to her mom. That's completely boring to anyone else, but still, YAY!
ASU was doing free lunches today, so Adam, Bobby, Lisa, Dr. Carroll and I all went and ate together. I laughed so hard the whole time. I also tried eggplant (that's what we decided it was, anyway) for the first time and was surprised to find it wasn't disgusting like I thought it would be. It was actually rather sweet. This is boring too.
Amazing--I've had such a great day, but none of it is interesting enough to type about.
I will say there is a guy who looks much like a Greek god walking around my school, and he was in the lunch room and Lisa and I drooled into our eggplant over him. I want to...lick him, or bite him, or something. It's the only thing that seems appropriate.
