Tired
I’m just so sick of trying
And wanting to be
A perfect person who everyone will love and adore
It doesn’t seem like anyone does
Everyone is so fake and lies all the time
Who can I trust in this world?
A world so fake, a world so cruel
Every day all around me
People so untrue and fake
I don’t see why people don’t like me
And never really care
I try so hard to be a good friend
But it doesn’t seem to matter
To the people I care about
I’m so tired of smiling
And being so happy
When really it is not true
I’m sick of keeping my tears in,
So no-one has to worry
Maybe I should let my guard down
And let them see the real me….
