R.I.P. Captain Phil
(crossposted on Google Buzz) After seeing the live stream of the public memorial for Phil Harris, captain of the crab fishing vessel Cornelia Marie, I can only wish to have a memorial like his, filled with funny stories of a man who lived life to the fullest. Plus, any memorial that has mention of crab fart bubbles or a father saying, after a showdown of skill with his younger son, "Now you know why lions eat their young" is win. (grins - if you watch Deadliest Catch, you'll know why that's fitting in a memorial) R.I.P Phil Harris (1953-2010). May your pots always be full of keepers, and may the road go smoothly beneath your Harley.
