Sheesh, Nero, way to go to make it easy to use the custom menu templates a person created in Nero Vision 9 in Nero Vision 10, and nice going documenting that, since you don't autoconvert the XML in the .tpl files to add the ONE FREAKING NEW LINE needed for 10 to use the files, you have to add that line yourself by a) poking around to see where 9 saved those files to see if they were still on the computer, b) making a new template to see where 10 saves those files (same place, it turns out - for me, in was in My Documents\NeroVision\Templates\CE\(name of my custom DVD category) - My Documents, of course, being different depending on Windows versions), c) figuring out what's missing from Vision's error log, d) remaking a new template to see what that line actually is, since silly me deleted the new one not thinking I was going to need it later, and e) editing all of the older custom menus' .tpl files (12 menus in my case) to add that one line. (bangs head on desk for the waste of a few hours, since I didn't find any answers online and eventually figured it out myself from poking around those files - for anyone Googling for this, if this shows up in Google, it's the GUID line at the beginning of the metadata - you can edit the .tpl files in any text editor, but always remember to back up the originals first)
