Why am I so tired lately? I understood being flat out exhausted on Thursday, since I was up way too late on a hyper kick Wednesday night. Plus, being on the desk during Summer Reading is tiring, plus I stayed late to get caught up on my new duties two days as well, although I did that to get a ride home from Mom - she gets out of work later than I do, plus she actually has a commute, plus it was too damn hot to walk home, so I had plenty of time to play catchup. I did surprise my manager that I was caught up already, though. (g) I crashed hard today, not only sleeping in like I normally do on a day off, but taking a nap as well later in the day. I didn't mean to - I was laying down, listening to music, when I got out of the shower, and just ended up napping by accident. I'll head to bed shortly, which means my inbox still has a ton of people to reply to here. (sighs)
Of course, it doesn't help that I'm getting addicted to Kamen Rider Den-O. If I'm on the computer, I would almost rather watch that than be online. I love that for once the hero's a wimp, although he does have courage and will at least try to stand up for what's right (although not for himself (g)). I almost wanted to watch that instead of Doctor Who and BSG tonight...
...although I'm glad I did watch the mid-season finale of BSG. (snorts) Considering that the rest of the season won't air until NEXT YEAR, they might as well just call it a season finale (grumbles - I'm so not happy about that long of a what, tyvk). All I'll say is that I was disappointed that a very important landmark seems to be always shown in situations like the end of BSG was missing. (giggles) Plus, since the last of the Final Five is not in the Colonial fleet, as per De'Anna, it just confirms my theory that the last Cylon model is on Earth:
(giggles madly)
Finally, again, could someone confirm that I read
Ryuji's latest entry correctly? He doesn't wear pants at home? I hope he's wearing shorts instead...
Oh, I almost forgot that I keep wanting to share this CD that the library system is getting in at work:
Baby Love Lullaby: Lullaby Versions of Jay-Z. Yes, your baby can listen to lullaby versions of "Big Pimpin'" and "Jigga that Nigga". Interestingly, while looking for that on Amazon, I also found from the same people
a 50 Cent (for those who want their kids to listen to "In da Club" and "P.I.M.P") and
Johnny Cash ("Folsom Prison Blues" as a lullaby, anyone?). There's
a Tim McGraw one as well, but it's not as odd. Who the hell thinks of this stuff?????????
