I had a really shitty experience last night and feel the need to vent about it, yet I've put it off all day.  I've probably come back to this livejournal "post an entry" page like 10 times not knowing exactly what to say. Whatever, here it is:

Formal legal charging may seem overboard- or? capybyra April 27 2009, 16:49:22 UTC
The perceived safety from repercussions is what makes some person-on person crimes common. Being flatly blunt- they feel no fear of more than a slap if even that. Let alone a trip to jail and explaining their actions to judge/jury... Damn- no one should be touched unbidden! I was going to post a equally disconcerting memory- but yours is enough to reconfirm my stance on handling such incidents. Ban them from the event they violated trusts at certainly. But there's the hanging sword of follow up on this case's perp...

I'd gently suggest having a neutral delegate informing this person of their potential **PERMANENT** Blackballing from all polite society! But doing so on more detached grounds of "Do you understand *why* your actions are totally not allowed"? and- "can you explain to yourself-and then me- any reason why such an offense never can happen again" If they get that far- healing as opposed to execution may be in order! eh? Back to my Reasons?

Some folks are so whacked by self identity crisis discoveries or our literal rape glorifying culture that their motives are not even processed before some crash&burn forces an intervention! Or -they are indeed an irredeemable gobbet of dung needing forcible expulsion thru the nearest airlock. Sadly I lack wisdom to determine which folks are needing help Vs needing Spacing:>
