the final act of this drama...
iv'e been doing a lot of thinking about what the plot of RE5 will encompass, and i noticed a funny thing at the ending of "The Umbrella Chronicals". Wesker refers to "the conclusion of this drama":
and that seems to be indicating some big stuff is about to go down in the Resident Evil universe.
here's what methinks: Resident Evil 5 will be the last, or at the very least, next to last game in the continuing storyline of Resident Evil. that doesn't mean that they'll stop making games, however. they'll still pump out a remake of RE1 and an Outbreak game evrey couple of years, but the actual ending of the story happens here, or pretty soon. i'm assuming that Wesker has two paths he can possibly go down: He dies at the hands of his own creation (again), or he gets away scott-free, and vanishes from the radar, never to be seen or heard from again. Sheva, Chris' new partner in RE5 will probubly die, simply because evrey game needs a "Louis!", "Richard!" or "Brad!" momment. eh, who knows. just my thinking.
