Fallen Angel
The world lost a great person in Liz Cutting. She was an amazing friend and person. I was very fortunate to have spent time with her over the course of the past 6 months. doesnt really seem like that long but she touched me in a way that could never be explained. she was an incredible musician. her spirit will always live on with me and many others that she touched. God i miss her so much, i just saw her last week, you know? me and shane visited her after our track meet. we surprised her so good. ill never forget the way she smiled or her sense of humor or the way she always made you feel good. i tried to write a song about her but it still doesnt get the point across....here it is though:
Her smile never faded
she always picked you up
when she hugged, you felt invinsable
youd swear she loved this world
you were too happy
to do any of this
you left the world too soon
but now youre in a better place
i cant say that i miss you
because it doesnt mean quite enough
the way you touched all our lives
why didnt you reach out for us?

ill never forget where i was
on that cold february night
tears of shock and disbelief
poured down my face
nothing can comfort me

i seriously cant believe someone with that bright of a future would do that. NEVER TAKE YOURE OWN LIFE. it affects too many people, even if you think that it wont. me and liz had plans to hang out when her parents went away. that would have been so fun. but ill never forget her. i loved her. she was someone that will live on with me forever. she was truly a fallen angel...
