I don't have a story to tell so here are some thoughts rolling through my head lately:
-Took a bath tonight and it feels heavenly, like somehow cleaner than usual and with an all over tingly feeling. Ahhh...I want to do this more often.
-A girly moment here, but I got highlights in my hair and am pleased. : ) After getting a couple nice paychecks I wanted to get something for myself that isn't something I can consume (I spend almost all my money on food and drinks these days) I only got the top done so it wasn't expensive. No one has really noticed yet, but i didn't want them to be too obvious anyway.
-I am going home for the weekend and like always am anticipating it. It's the closest thing to a vacation I get during school. I'll refrain from getting too sentimental here, and spare you warm and fuzziness.
-Made chicken and mashed potatoes tonight, with plenty of tasty leftovers for later. My cooking skills are basic and plain at the moment, however anything I make I find delicious. As a very non-picky eater I am easily impressed, and I find this can really work in my favor.
-I never mentioned it but last weekend after getting out late from work, a bunch of us went to grab a drink at the Auld Dubliner. It was the first time I've been able to do that with them since turning 21, and I really enjoyed the moment, we all have a good laugh together.
-I've been invited to a sports game practice, and I can go tomorrow if I want. I am tempted to but I would have to go alone if I did. I also wonder what friends would say if they found out what I might be doing. I've been told by a friend all athletic abilities are welcome, and I could use more exercise. Hmmm...decisions, decisions.
PS I discovered a poor man's dessert that kind of tastes like a peanut butter cookie, and I love the texture of it. You take dry oatmeal and mix in some peanut butter. It takes a while to mix it so the oatmeal is lightly coated evenly by the peanut butter. Then add a little bit of sugar to make it sweeter if desired. It's kind of chewy, but I like that.
