I used to love Spaghettio's as a kid and even into my teenage years, but as soon as I found out they were made with animal by-products I could no longer stomach them (and this was before I was vegetarian). Who wants to eat something that SHOULD be made out of pasta, cheese and tomato sauce but in actuality includes disgusting animal parts? Not me.
I am a big fan of the Annie's line of organic products, and I buy their assorted boxed mac and cheese products on a pretty regular basis. They make a delicious, quick dinner tossed with some fresh veggies. So this afternoon I was at the store picking up some tissues and canned soups for Jason in all of his flu-contaminated glory. I had noticed Annie's made canned products before, but today I took one look at a can of
Arthur Loops and was overcome with nostalgia for sick days of yore when I would stay home from elementary school, eating Spaghettio's, saltine crackers and ginger ale.
And now here I am at 23, eating a bowl of organic spaghettio's. Awesome.
