A few soft-spoken words from a very feminine-sounding voice caught Juugo's attention, more from what he'd missed than what he'd caught. Though he'd technically passed all his English courses in school, language had never come easy to him, and he found he still had trouble interpreting unless he was paying close attention. This time, luckily, he was able to figure out the gist of it by her tone, as she stepped around the guards and seemed to be approaching him.

Which was odd, Juugo thought. It was very odd.

So far, since he'd been here, he'd found people giving him a wide berth, and no surprise. Armed guards notwithstanding, there were people here who knew him, knew his reputation and what he was capable of. Hell, from what he understood, Tayuya even had some form of his DNA running through her veins. Then the incident with Dr. Umino took care of the stragglers who hadn't already heard the rumours.

And now, here came an exception. A small girl, with something shiny in her hand, heading straight towards him as though he wasn't twice her size and warranting his current entourage. He ducked his head, as though he could make himself appear smaller than he was, slightly nervous and not quite knowing what to expect.

"H- hallo? Uh... hello?"
