[Thread] Taking all the colours away [EVERYBODY IN!]
Who: Everyone. Yes, EVERYONE. THIS IS A COMPULSORY THREAD, PEOPLE.
Where: The Nevada Facility and surrounds
When: 02:00, Sunday August 18th 2058
What: Facility-wide training mission! Whee!

"We should have first impact in just under half a minute, sir."
"Excellent. Goggles up, gentleman. This should be quite the show."
There was a susurrus indicating that the figures grouped in the makeshift control room had lifted arms and donned their protective eyewear in near-perfect unison. The figure known only as 'InstructorX' to everybody save his or her immediate superiors folded its arms in satisfaction as the whine of warheads grew louder, wailing to fever pitch before there was a shocking explosion, almost suffocating in its aural pressure. The screens around the room displayed a brilliant flash of light that dissipated to reveal tumbling concrete and a rather satisfactory crater around the impact site.
"Good shot, McKennor. Right in the middle of the mark, too," InstructorX complimented the man responsible for this particular shot. "All right. Give them five minutes to wake up and form up, and then send in the next round."
The man at the comm nodded absently and began relaying orders to various strike forces. "Bravo Unit, Echo Unit, Zulu Unit: prepare to infiltrate the Facility in ten minutes. Ballistics: we are clear for the second round in five minutes. Medical team: please stand by."
Again there was the sound of multiple persons removing their goggles. "Are we placin' bets on which team gets out with the most limbs again?" one man drawled, a smirk curving his heavily-pockmarked cheeks. "An' who gets out the fastest?"
"And which teams don't make it at all? Hah!"
Banter flowed around the room, sardonic and scathing. InstructorX watched the screens alertly without contributing to the speculations. There was no point, no need. Those of the Nevada Facility's current student residents who were strong enough to escape would do so and those who weren't wouldn't. It was as simple as that.
[[OOC: All right gang, here's the drill. The Team leaders have known this was coming, although not on what day. Live-ammunition drill - people will get FUCKED UP if they don't move fast enough. The objective is to escape the destruction of the facility WITH YOUR TEAM. And with all limbs intact, if possible.
Team Beta, for the purposes of this mission Tayuya is on the team.
