Wow, Wow, Wow
Soooo much has happened this week...
First of all, BARACK OBAMA is our PRESIDENT-ELECT!!!! I never thought i'd witness something so grounbreaking and historical. I bawled my eyes out when I saw that he actually won.
Secondly, I WON an all expenses paid trip to NYC next Thursday and Friday to attend the Keep a Child Alive annual black ball. Keep a Child Alive is an organization that provides HIV/Aids infected children in Africa with the proper vaccinations and other medications. Alicia Keys is co-founder, will be the guest speaker, performer, and is hosting the event along with supermodel Iman. Justin Timberlake, Jack White, Chris Daughtry, Adele, Emmanuel Jal, and etc will be some of the performers. Queen Latifah will be one of the honorees. Jessica Alba and Clive Davis are some of the chairs! Its a star-studded event, and I get to go! Roundtrip air-fare, 2 tickets to the ball (which start at $2500 a piece) and hotel accomodations for 2 nights!. I'm taking Jasmine even though she don't know me, and Melissa is letting me borrow a dress of her's! Have I ever mentioned how much I absolutely adore Melissa, like...seriously?!
