Camping trip success!

The camping trip was great! Thank you to all who made it! We saw Amber Larson from Illinois, Megan Van Orden, Sean Wilson, Greg Wilson from Waterford, Bill Michals in from his European tour, Aimee Kneisel and her man Jeremy from Michigan State, Kylie Maas and Aaron Mitti and friends from CMU, and of course me :-)

I'm happy to report that no major injuries occurred, and we ate very well. Also zombies are in - we had everything zombie on the trip, thanks to Megan's Zombie Survival Guide.

I'm even happier to report that I fell in love with Amber, and after an awkward encounter on the beach followed by a week of ambiguous walks together, we kissed for the first time after watching the sunset over lake Michigan on Saturday night. Even though it's creepy, or maybe because it is so delightfully creepy, she originally thought I was an internet stalker under an assumed identity. This is probably because I decided to type all of my interests into a google search followed by the words "aim screenname" and her deviantArt page was the first hit. I proceeded to message her, telling her how I got her screenname. Wow, what a great time. We connected really well (though I'll spare you all the mushy details).

I return to Waterford tomorrow, though I'll still have my apartment up here. The reason for moving is my summer jobs. I'll be doing work for GM during the week (computer programming and data collection and analysis). And on weekends I'll be working the occasional wedding with Able Video (which has since downsized to the hobby house behind the owner's house and has gone exclusively to weddings as refereed from Mike Staff Productions... groan).

And now that I'll be in Waterford... Roleplaying? Exercise? Capture the flag with swords? Bonfires? Tea and cookies? Anyone?
