It's been roughly a week since my last update, so I suppose that I should get back to doing this more frequently - whatever. SO...it seems like forever since this semester started, and at the same time it feels like it was yesterday that Joe and I were moving the futon over to this dorm room. I'm not going to even attempt to explain this paradox inside my brain, but that is just how it is. Calculus, combined with my lack of sleep, I shall blame for my clumsiness this morning. I fell feet first down the steps of Ernst Hall right after completing the test and scraped an ankle. Good thing my name isn't Achilles - though it was his heel that was fatal to injure, not his ankle. Anyway, I survived that test, along with the one last Tuesday and its correlating quiz; calculus does not really phase me anymore. Physics, however, is a separate story entirely. The first test is tomorrow, and I have not been the perfect student. So today, my life is physics. I still have two chapters to peruse and a bunch of studying to do. Oh yeah, and there's still a speech outline due and two chapters to read for Communications, along with a physics prelab to complete. Curses on classes. Good thing I'm motivated (feel free to laugh at this point.) Yeah, so I guess this post could have been much happier, but I feel that journal entry tone should match that of the writer's current situation. So you all (anybody out there?) shall just have to wait for a joyous post. For now, I'm going to go finish this stuff so that I will be one step closer to enjoying college life and writing as though such were the case. Take care, God bless, and hope to see you at IFC sometime.
