010:Where was the most memorable meal you ever had?
A 2am, early fall, drunken feast of self caught Alaskan King Crab. Without a license we pulled 6 giant sea bugs from beneath a pier on the spit using balled up fishing line stuffed little bits of meat to attract our dinner. Soon to eat like kings, we boiled our catch in an enormous pot of water over a raging bonfire. We were young, broke and hungry. We dined sitting on the sandy beach of the Homer spit under a magical sky of northern lights. Never since have I had a meal so delicious or memorable. 1994 largely defined the way I live today. I have fantasized about living in Homer Alaska ever since.
