Mike Marshall On Mandocello
I would love one of these. They are hard to find, and the few that I have found are either really crappy, or incredibly expensive.
Tuned the same as a cello but do not have the the same octave range. Amy and I have talked about getting me one for my birthday, but they really are very expensive. We found one that we may be able to get, but it would hinder our current financial plans.
Mike Marshall is an incredible mando player, and this video is only a small sample of his playing, but it demonstrates the instrument really well.
