Anxiously Waiting
I'm eagerly awaiting some items I bought with the money I got for Christmas. I ordered some DVD's and CD's, most of which have come in, but I also ordered the new release by legendary magician Paul Harris.
My Magic mentor growing up was a huge fan of Paul Harris, and therefore, so am I. His last major release was a project Called, "The Art of Astonishment". I had several of Paul's books from the 70's, and was lucky enough to receive a complete set of "The Art of Astonishment" for Christmas a few years ago.
Just before Christmas I found out that Paul was finally going to release his new project "True Astonishment". If I understand correctly, this will be a compilation of everything that he had come up with since the mid 90's and improvemnts on some of his best work. The ultimate collection for the ultimate geek.
I pre-ordered the collection a week or so ago, but it was a pre-order. I'm hoping to be the first of my magic geek friends to have this, and with any luck, mine will be autographed. This is supposed to be released this week of next.
