The things she did for the rest of the Institute sometimes. The man had a teenage daughter for crying out loud! What was the Professor thinking? It was times like this that Jean wished had Rogue's or some other student's powers instead of something so similar to the Professor. Oh well.
Now, this was going to be an interesting night. Whether that was a good thing...that was unknown. Probably not. Only Jean's sense of duty kept her from calling Nate (he seemed eerily familar) back. Dressed up for the ocassion, Jean had thanked Nate for his help getting to Birkin.
Just pretend it's Duncan. It's for the Institute. That makes it better. It's not like you have a choice.
Tonight was going to hurt. At least, hopefully, for only Birkin. Jean wasn't known to do this everyday or on just anyone but this was an exception.
