Summer has been crazy.
The last four weeks have been teaching at band camps and this upcoming week is Chiefs band camp. I'm excited to see everyone but not excited for the inevitable bullshit.
I've been drinking entirely too much this summer, and hence spending the money that I earned from all the band camps before the checks actually come in the mail. So I've gotten ultra fat [not], but out of shape for sure. Evan and I go-cadenced for the Frostproof kids for about 8 seconds and I was out of breath for about 30 seconds... oops.
Anyways, Frostproof. A lot of fun, and fell in love with the kids. Highlight of my music ed career so far, so naturally I'm re-thinking the whole music vs. accounting thing. I think music ed is going to be the way that I go.
My new house is awesome. Love my roommates, and my room is 30 times better this time around. Decorated, unpacked, and everything. I have to go desk shopping soon.
My car played this really fun game called air conditioner is broken and window won't go down. The 8 hours of driving over the last couple days has not really been that fun... but hey, I sweated out all the toxins I guess?
