«Трансформеры: Темная сторона Луны» - это в первую очередь зрелищный фантастический боевик, впитавший в себя всю мощь и грандиозность двух предыдущих сестёр, так настырно крича и размахивая своими железными конечностями, доказывая свою визуальную шедевральность. (c)
I find it’s really unnecessary to dedicate a full review to a massive big explosive summer blockbuster. In the Twenty First Century the reviews for Michael Bay’s movies should be short as tweets or at least like Optimus Prime’s lines.
It is impossible to describe the synopsis, there is a ship in the Moon, which crashed there a long time ago flying from Cybertron. The ship was carrying some super stuff which could end the war and save the planet. NASA discovered the alien ship and sent Apollo 11 to find out what was on that ship. Afterwards we find out the full-strength Hamlet drama, betrayal searching of meaning of life and a massive unstoppable battle in the heart of Chicago.
After 1.5 hours of watching the realization of unpaid screenplay writers coming. Those guys defiantly haven’t seen their pay-check. As it is not just complete senseless idiocracy on screen it is also sleeping boring talking. I saw some people took their 3D glasses and fell asleep. Scary!
Another ‘tweet” would be dedicated to Optimus ‘Hamlet” Prime, who performed on the highest level. The transformers performance is something worth watching, so much feelings inside iron-creatures. You can feel pain, sorrow and bravery in their shining eyes. From the other hand, human-actors discovered only one acting trick. Whatever happens just look far far away, kind of Dirty Harry look, but much deeper. It’s not even funny anymore.
The only thing, probably the major one, Michael Bay’s team can shot the action. Every action scene is a kind of perfection, transformers seemed so real, the 40 minutes fight is something breathe taken. Can’t take that from the guy.
But all over it’s a poor movie which was crashed even by the fans of the genre. Hopefully Optimus Prime will get his nomination for the best supporting actor on the next Oscar Ceremony. The leader of Autobots definitely deserved that!
